ENJOY THIS EXCERPT:

“There came a time, after God had freed His people from the bondage of Egypt, that He spoke to me.” Moses said after he finished the stories of a book he called Genesis.

Saturday thought how he was happy when he was freed from the home that didn’t take care of him. And even though he was wandering alone in the forest, hungry and scared, and did not know what might happen to him, he was happy to be free of the old place. Just as he was so happy, and grateful too, when he found Dutch and Miss Robbie’s house, and how wonderful it has been living there and being cared for. It occurred to Saturday that God’s people freed from the place called Egypt must have been feeling the very same feeling. “But why did God speak to you?” Saturday was surprised when his thinking question asked itself right out loud all of a sudden.

Moses thought about that question. And as he thought it seemed to Saturday that it was not the first time Moses had thought that question. That is how that kind of thinking questions go many times.

Finally Moses answered Saturday.
