Howdy Friends! And I Replied: It’s easy to, go along with the slide, because perhaps the greatest sin is to want to be one’s own god.
Which allows one to justify one’s unrighteous views, wants, passions and lusts. So of course to them everything in the Bible is not necessarily true, just an A La Carte banquet from which one might pick and choose what works best for them in their sinful justifications.
And Jesus can’t be the only way to God for them, because being right in their own eyes, they can surely chart their own path.
To them, Jesus can’t be God, because that would interfere with their plan that they are just as wise and powerful as is Jesus.
Here then is the root, those enjoying the slide can’t imagine any deity greater than themselves. And the one almighty God, will doubtless keep them blind, cripple and deaf. ~ Gitty Up, Dutch.
