Howdy Friends! Saturday Learns the Ten Commandments – Sneak Peek 10. In this scene, Moses tells them of the plagues God brought to Egypt.

ENJOY THIS EXCERPT:

“Perhaps I should tell you about other times when God spoke to me.” Moses said. “Before the people were freed from Egypt.”

“I love those stories.” Butterfly said from her perch on a branch just above Moses.

And so, Moses told them of the time God spoke to him from inside the burning bush. He told them how he took God’s messages to Pharaoh. He told them who Pharaoh was. He told them of the plagues God brought to Egypt.

Moses told them of Pharaoh’s hard heart. And what that meant. He told them of the release from Egypt and how God parted the Red Sea so they could escape Pharaoh’s army. Moses told them of the days of walking in the desert. And why the people became afraid.

Kessy, Saturday and the kitties had gathered close, and listened as Moses told them stories from a book Moses called Exodus, that helped them understand better why things of importance were important. After all, that’s why they had set out on the walk that led them to where they had come. Saturday still wasn’t sure where Moses had come from today. Saturday told himself it was like the day they met Noah at the Ark. That day, Noah had talked about God too. But that was different. At least it seemed it was different to Saturday. He wondered if Noah knew Moses. They both knew God, he knew that because they both said that they did.
