Howdy Friends! Saturday Learns the Ten Commandments – Sneak Peek 6. In this scene Saturday , Kessy, Danielle and Fluffernutter have met Butterfly. And begin to follow her.
ENJOY THIS EXCERPT:
So Saturday decided right then to say out loud, “Dear God, why is it important to be good?” Then he thought about it a little and added, “Why is it important to be honest when we say things?” And he thought some more and said, “Why is it important not to want things we don’t have that our friends have?” That question made Saturday remember the times he would snitch apples away from Kessy. Thinking and, asking as he was, it seemed as if he maybe shouldn’t do that again. But he did love to crunch apples. There were more importances to ask, Saturday was sure, but try as he might he could not make the questions speak up. He was happy when Fluffernutter interrupted.
“I think that butterfly wants to say something,” and Fluffernutter pointed to a very large and mostly yellow, with just the right amount of blue, butterfly sitting on a dandelion flower. Fluffernutter pointed to it with her paw.
“You do?” Asked Saturday as he admired her beautiful colors. Saturday always loved butterflies, and he was happy they always knew what color to paint the flowers.
“Do what?” The butterfly said in a very high voice that sounded almost like a song.
“Want to say something?” Saturday asked.
“Oh yes.” She fluttered her wings in the sun. “Follow me.”
So they did.
