Howdy Friends! Do we ever think about temptation? Temptation isn’t only about the big and easy to spot wrongs.

But each day we are faced with tiny, not so obvious temptations.

Do we ever think about those tiny missteps? The little bads no one will notice, and aren’t really so bad anyway. How can we think about those tiny temptations that are so tiny we tell ourselves they may not be temptations at all?

We have the answer right before us, as always, in the Bible.

(1 Thessalonians 5:18) “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

We are called to give thanks “In everything.” Not “for everything,” and that is an important distinction.

And if we cannot give Thanks for that attitude or action, that would be a temptation to avoid. And give Thanks for the wisdom to understand why. ~ Gitty up, Dutch.
