Howdy Friends! In our search to understand, wickedness, oppression, lies, and manipulation from our own government. We can of course find the answers in God’s word. Let’s look at Nehemiah 9:35-37:
“Even in their own kingdom, and amid your great goodness that you gave them, and in the large and rich land that you set before them, they did not serve you or turn from their wicked works. Behold, we are slaves this day; in the land that you gave to our fathers to enjoy its fruit and its good gifts, behold, we are slaves. And its rich yield goes to the kings whom you have set over us because of our sins. They rule over our bodies and over our livestock as they please, and we are in great distress.”
So even a person whose heart leans to the left (Ecclesiastes 10: 1) should easily understand God here. “amid your great goodness that you gave them” God gave us America. “ they did not serve you or turn from their wicked works.” As a nation we have turned evil to good and good to evil. I’ll bet you noticed.
“Behold, we are slaves this day;” Harassed, burdened and yoked by every manner of regulation, dictate and mandate by agencies, employers and government. “And its rich yield goes to the kings whom you have set over us because of our sins.” Extraordinary taxes stealing from us because we don’t worship and tithe to our Lord and Savior. (I could really expound on that one).
“They rule over our bodies and over our livestock as they please, and we are in great distress.” We don’t enjoy the fruits of our production, be it our careers or jobs, or hobbies. – The fruits are siphoned off by oppressive regulations, taxes and theft.
“They rule over our bodies,” No person, not a single one, no matter how imbecilic, can fail to understand that one after the past few years.
So there ya have it. Directly from God, why our nation suffers under the kings He set over us. Anyone who thinks they are going to vote their way out of this. Is reading the wrong book. ~ Gitty up, Dutch.
